Presentation on Exploring Swissness: Infrastructure – Mountainland – Lakeland

Within the framework of the studio: Architecture & Landscape: Schweiz.Suisse.Svizzera.Svizra, the studio “Exploring Swissness” is investigating the integration of computational methodologies and tools for understanding the complex architectural and landscape architectural features of Swissness. Three different sites are the starting point of our investigations concentrating on infrastructure, mountains and water.
The goal is to achieve a new reading of landscape systems by integration of emerging technological tools in the design phase. Throughout the semester, a mix of computational and analog tools were developed to achieve our goals. The resulting designs show a significant change of attitude and approach. We are looking for responsive and adaptive designs which are presented by the students during this event.
