Health Transformations: How smarter data use can improve health and wellbeing
–
By invitation only
The event is about how smart use of health data and its technologies can promote health and stimulate dynamic innovation clusters across the European Union.
A great deal of research and administrative effort is now going into gathering patient data, analysing it, identifying care pathways that lead to the best outcomes for patients – and then using that information to make health systems more effective. This approach has already proven beneficial in many hospitals and systems across the world. But, at the same time, the technology and entrepreneurship this task requires has also stimulated rapid development of new companies, innovative health services, and vibrant innovation clusters. The Health Capital Helsinki initiative of Aalto University, the University of Helsinki, the City of Helsinki, and the Helsinki University Central Hospital can be considered a powerful example of this. The event convenes high-level experts from across the EU to examine the challenge.
