Cryptoparty
–
Online security is a tricky subject. It all starts from simply making sure your password is not, well ‘password’, and continues to more and more complex efforts to make your movements on the internet private. MyData 2017 conference organisers invited a local Cryptoparty group to teach us about online privacy, and now we invite all of you to join us in a Cryptoparty on May 19th in Rikhardinkatu Library.
Important notes
The space is limited and to make the party run smoothly, we can only host 25 visitors. Be on time, first come first served. We follow Chatham house rules during the Cryptoparty. Shortly, we wish to keep the participants anonymous. The event can be reported on social media, but any participant should not be identifiable. Consider if you take pictures that for example laptop backs can have identifiable stickers.
